Ford OEM swivel seat bases -- free

Sometimes my eyes are bigger than my tummy or some such. Anyways, last year I picked up 3 Ford OEM swivel seat bases from an 89 Ford Chateau van. (The 4th base was already removed.)

Optimistically thinking I could use these easily on my 06 vans I finally got around yesterday trying see if I could use them. After taking out the passenger seat and separating the seat from the base its not as easy as I had hoped for. With some imagination they could be adapted but I've decided the return on investment isn't worth my limited available time. My kids and my high pressure job comes first.

They're absolutely free. I'd prefer not to ship as each swivel seat base weighs about 20-25 lbs each. I'm located in Cupertino, CA. Below are some picts.

Thanks for reading,
Ray

Re: Ford OEM swivel seat bases -- free

Hi there
First timer here, as I just picked up my first SMB!
92 E250 2x....not for long getting 4x4ed next month
I'm hoping you have one of those swivel seat bases still
I'm in Santa Cruz and can pick up if you're available.
That's one of the first things I want to do to free up space
in the front area.
Thanks
Dave

Re: Ford OEM swivel seat bases -- free

Thank you Ray,

I got a couple of big plastic boxes from a hardware store and though the women at SW Airlines looked a little askew at the size and weight they let me load them on the plane, They are now safely at home and will soon be a part of my van. Having the swivel seats adds so much useable space to a van interior. I'm looking forward to having them in place.
