FS: Aluminess tire carrier (WA, USA) ==SOLD

Hello!

I have an Aluminess tire carrier for sale for $350. I bought it used a couple of years ago, but by the time I'd gathered all of the little pieces required to mount it, realized that I also needed a storage box, so bought a full bumper.

The carrier has been 'refurbished' in that I wet-sanded and sprayed it to repair some oxidation of the powder coat. Looks like new. I also bought the aluminum spacer plate and the replacement door hinge bolt from Aluminess (who are, by the way, the most helpful and customer-oriented people I've ever dealt with!!), and will include those. They're required for mounting. The toggle latch is brand new (this carrier sports the old style latch). I replaced any bolts that were rusty or looking old.

My stock 8x6.5 bolt pattern wheels fit on here; not sure if 8x170 also fit?

More info is available from Aluminess' page: http://www.aluminess.com/tire-racks.htm

I'm in Monroe, WA and work in Kirkland. I'd prefer local pickup but will consider FedEx within the U.S. (maybe if you pay for the bubble wrap?! ).

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Cheers!
Mike.

Nope. I'm sure new studs can be placed, but this is the kind I have, before Aluminess adapter plates and whatnot, so it's pretty much 8 on 6.5 unless you want to get creative.

It may be adaptable to 8x170, depending on the backspacing of the wheel. F350 wheels have about 6.5" of backspacing and will require a spacer to take up that space and change the bolt pattern. That is what I had to do.
