ISO Spare Wheel/Tire

Looking for a stock steel wheel, preferably with a spare tire already on it. For some reason my van came without, and I've been testing my luck for the past 5,000 miles. It looks likely that I'll be driving to Fairbanks this summer, and I feel that a spare may certainly be necessary.

A few bits of information regarding bolt pattern, van, something, would probably help the process along a bit. For example, I have 4 stock wheels from an Express 3500 that I'd love to get rid of but I don't know if that would work for you or not.

Where are you located? I had one in the backyard, free for the taking, if I still have it. I'm in Brentwood, northern California

Look on Craiglist and Facebook Marketplace for one. I see them all the time. Assuming you are a stock 2WD E-van, the bolt pattern for all Econolines since 1992 is 8x6.5. Also, wheels from F-series trucks (so called “obs” or old body style) prior to 1997 (I believe) also have that bolt pattern.

I'd call around to local salvage yards -- they usually end up with stacks of stock wheels, sometimes with good tires still on 'em.

Odds are your bolt pattern is 8x165. Both dodge and chevy use that same bolt pattern. So most all 8 lug wheels should work as long as the offset and bore will work.

Just know that you can’t use 8 lug wheels from the 98 and up ford trucks. They switched to the 8x170 pattern around 98-99.
