Re: looking for pop out windows

Bamberg was wonderful!!! I brew beer, so I was very interested in the rauchbier. and had a very, very pleasant evening at the Spezial biergarten.

On the other hand, the "Schlengerle" was too strong for me...but now my brewing buddies are planning a smoked porter brew... but we cannot match the Bamberg smoked malt in the recipe.

for windows: I had vented windows in my 1995 e-150 van and loved them at night when my Fantastic Fan pulled air through them. Now with my 2006 e-350 van I miss the vented windows, and search Texas junk-yards for them.

The windows were never open when driving. that is when the exhaust fumes are dangerous.

Cheers!

Re: looking for pop out windows

This CL ad claims to have them: http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/pts/3247944066.html

I don't know the person, I don't know where Point Richmond is either.

Good Luck,

Regarding the exhaust issue, I've always wondered about whether that is really a problem, as on my 98 5.4l Ford the exhaust pipe is on the passenger side rear, near the rear sliding window. SMB had no issue putting a window directly above the exhuast pipe, it seems. I usually open the driver's side slider when driving in order to get airflow.
Side windows are not an issue. The airflow down the side of the van pushes air past the window and can pull air out of the van. It is the rear of the van that can be the problem. Don't ask me to explain how the air flow does it, but there is a vacuum at the rear of a squared off vehicle and it pulls air (and exhaust) into the vehicle. It doesn't have to be a window, a poorly sealed door can do the same thing.

I called the guy a few weeks back. He says he has everything, screws, plates and such and he wants $150 for the two rear ones and they are not the darker Gray ones. Just an FIY. He parted out a mid 90s high roof conversion van and he still has some parts left.
