Ok, I am working on getting my own SMB built but that is a pretty impressive beast you have got there, good luck finding a new home for it and an SMB!

Wanted to get anyone's thoughts on this one I found?? Not a smb but seems hard to find anything in my area(northeast ga). I was looking for 4x4 with 7.3 but with the price of this one it could be dropped off at U-joint and converted I'm guessing......

No kidding, that is a nice looking van. I wonder how much of the mileage was put on before the conversion interior, still for 12K it looks like a great start.

The interior is awkward IMO. Very much like a tunnel.

As an alternative, you could go for a V10 4x4, and spend the money on the interior instead.

That is a sweet looking van. BroncoHauler has a good point about the interior but to me the interior is an easy to upgrade as you go and money is a a available after the 4x4 conversion.

I'd figure on some engine work cost (now or later), and never being able to sell it. You invest 20K+ in PH top and 4x4 and you're never getting it out of this van, however that's a legit decision as you're in for close to 40. Alternatively invest 12K and figure out what you really want in a van (e.g. don't dump more money into 4x4 etc until you have some experience van camping).

If you're not willing to fly across the country for a van, this is still a good option/starting point IMHO.
