Re: National Park Pass FS/Trade/Gift

I sure could use it for the Grand Canyon trip next month. Mine expired in May and I did not buy one yet.
However, as I recall in Zion last year they asked me for ID and verified the name/signature.

Re: National Park Pass FS/Trade/Gift

Non-transferable wouldn't surprise me. We've bought one every year for the past 3 years, but never really got any use out of them- our own fault, best intentions but just don't seem to get away enough- well that and we tend to wind up in state or city parks where they're useless. This year we skipped buying one and just paid an entry fee because of course it expired just before our big Yellowstone trip.

Steve, you don't need a pass for Toroweap. It is in the GC, but no entry station and no camping fees!!! If you want to continue on to the North Rim, you will need something.

I will continue on, plus will stay in Zion for a night or two. I am really looking forward to this.
