Need van pricing help (1997 Chevrolet 2500 Diesel 4x4 Pop Top)!

Hi guys/gals,

I guess I should start by saying the van is in South Lake Tahoe CA. I have decided to get a larger van for my growing family.. The RB Chevy just doesn't hold us all and all our stuff anymore.

I don't know how to come to a fair asking price because its a pretty unusual combination, and I bought it in bad mechanical condition years back. Any input would be appreciated, I have been on the site long enough to know that y'all help people with this same thing pretty frequently!

The van:
1997 (pre-smog in California) Chevy Express 2500
Quigley solid axle 4x4
New and updated design 6.5l Turbo Diesel Optimizer (<2K miles ago)
Rebuilt 4L80E Automatic Trans (<500 miles ago)
Rebuilt floor shift 4x4 (<100 miles ago)
220K miles
Sportsmobile manual pop-top with new bed
Custom steel bumpers, rock rails with steps, swing outs, and roof rack
Electric seat/sofa bed
Passenger swivel seat
Custom house battery box (4 total batteries in the van)
Custom leaf packs in the front
7 gallon (not sure about this) propane tank with custom rockguard
Snap on window shades for all windows
Viper remote start/alarm
Nice dual zone stereo video deck with Apple CarPlay
Large TV mounted on poptop (works top up or down)
Flush E-track accessory mounts in the floor
Low mile 35" tires on bronze 17" wheels
Probably a bunch more that I missed!

Also these are with it but not installed:
Espar D4 diesel heater with controller
2000W updated Xantrex inverter
2 Trojan 6V batteries
1 metric ***ton of parts/accessories

I have all receipts and warranty info for everything. I will say that it's a unicorn.. Its not a F*rd so information isn't always easy to find on google and finding the right parts the first time can be an art. On the plus side, its a regular wheelbase. But thats also why I am selling it. That and I could have put my family into a sweet sprinter for the cost of replacing everything over the last few years... Anyway how do I price this thing fairly?

Thanks in advance, I appreciate any input you have!

I'd say around $30k. I've seen similar vans listed for (much) more, but I've also seen those listings sit on the market for months +

Those rear bumper swing-arms are beautiful, I like how they incorporated a beefy swing-arm into the bumper lines, looks great, who custom made it for you?

I'd love to recommend him, he was such a nice guy and a great fabricator... Unfortunately, he stiffed me on the roof rack flooring, the generator box, and the heater box I paid for. If you're still willing to give him a shot, I can give you the number I have... Maybe he will answer if it's not coming from my phone? Just PM me if you want it.

Some interior picks would help, can't tell if it's really a class b van or if it's a passenger van with some swivel seats and a pop top. Probably $20ish for passenger van setup and maybe $25K ish if it's got a class b interior with inverter, kitchenette, beds, etc.

Yeah, it's a passenger van with a couple extras. No sink, stove, cabinets, etc. Does a kitchenette with a water tank/pump, sink, fridge, and stove top usually make for about a 5K difference in price?

Hey, based on the pair of vents that are on the driver side of the van, you've got a propane-powered refrigerator of some sort onboard. (Or had one at one time.)

Is this still the case?

(I'm also echoing the comments that TexomaPowerboater made --- let's see some interior photos! )

It did have a refrigerator glued into it... It didn't work and was not safely installed so it was taken out. I have a design for a cabinet that I might pull the trigger on if it raises the value and marketability of the van... What kind of positive change do you think that would make for a sales price? Is that what the majority of people who buy these things want to see?

Also, I will snap a few pics of the interior on Sunday because I'm away until then. Why didn't I just do that in the first place? Brain=MIA.
