So that's what happened to my missing table. Its in Reno. Damn similar layout as mine as well. Heck, not a whole lot of miles on the 'ol gal either. I just can't get past that color

Actually, I love that color.

Good buy!

I stopped by to look at this today. It is quite impressive, needs new tires (5 years old, load range D BFG ATs), but has: 2 house batteries and starting batteries all new, solar, inverter, tons of cabinets, 9.5T Warn Ti winch, aluminess bumpers with storage box, 13gal aux fuel tank with guage, work lites, thule rack, ladder, nerfs, amsoil, locking underfloor storage, large custom refer, etc. Underbody very clean, etc. Very good buy, my in house CFO wouldn't let me own two SMBS. Owner very reasonable (no, not me).

Well, for the price of shipping, you can have the tabletop that I have. When we had our SMB modified (earlier this year), when SMBw packed up everything in our van, I ended up with a tabletop (very roughly 18" x 24" ?) even though I don't have the base. Jonathan said I could bring it back next time I visited, or he would send me the base if I asked. I haven't done either.

It's yours if you want it.

Don't knock the color. Ours is the green and it looks great in the mountains. I wasn't excited about it when I first bought it off the Sportsmobile website. It looks much better in real life than on the computer screen. It looks even better out in the way back. oclv

I'll comment on this van. The original owner spent considerable amounts for a custom designed battery charging system (including 165 amp alternator, adjustable regulator, and complete power management system), custom made refrigerator, and vegetable oil conversion for the fuel system. The additional fuel tanks at the rear are for diesel/bio-diesel, while the 46 gal. main tank is used for vegetable oil/diesel/bio-diesel. The fuel system was installed by a shop in the Berkley area (I don't know the name of the shop, but there probably aren't that many doing such an extensive conversion).

The original owner made sure his SMB was loaded with energy saving features. There will be a slight learning curve to fully understand the benefits of the fuel system, but well worth it! SMB should still have a copy of the DVD in the customers original file which has the power management system itemized and the schematic laid out in detail.

Good Luck to whoever becomes the lucky owner of this SMB!

I'd say that's an endorsement!

I hope I didn't extend the boundries of proper forum etiquette by sounding like an endorser, it's just so darn easy to get excited about these awesome rigs!

I did work with the original owner and wanted to make sure the "black box" discussion didn't end up in Area 51!

Seriously though, if anyone interested in this SMB has more specific questions, email me and I'll be glad to share what I can.

Thanks,
John K.

Nahh, personally I think it's great you have this sort of info, and are enthusiastic about this van.

Maybe I should ask you if you have any secrets about the ex-Western Elite Tours SMB. Hint, hint.
