Hey Sportsmobile Fans... I've still got my Excursion for sale. Albeit, it's got 15k more miles on it than when I first listed for sale last year (now 118k miles). Since then I've driven it from Chicago to Denver twice on family outings, and used it as my DD to commute to work each day.
Also, in the last week I've done the following maintenance and upgrades:
• New PowerStop front calipers, Wagner brake pads, MotorCraft Rotors
• New rear calipers, brake pads, rotors
• New front ABS sensor cables
• New custom stainless steel brake lines by Crown (all 5)
• Brake fluid flushed (synthetic)
• Lower radiator hose coolant heater installed (for cold Chicago nights)
• Mobil 1 synthetic oil change with Wix synthetic filter
Here's the complete rundown on the truck:
• Five New Michelin E-Load tires (4 + spare) installed last summer and rotated religiously
• Always Mobil 1 synthetic oil changes and MC or Wix filters
• Flushed steering fluid with synthetic
• New K&N filter (truck comes with 2 of them, both less than 12 mos old)
• Upgraded Pioneer stereo with video screen and bluetooth for phone integration.
• 4.30 rear differential with V10 engine
• SPD 3.5" high-flow y-pipe
• 5-Star tuner to run on 89 mid-grade fuel
• Finned aluminum rear differential cover
• New Moog front stabilizer bar bushings
• New cruise control module (under hood box with throttle cable attachment)
• Rancho adjustable shocks
• Upgraded Curtis hitch receiver (12k lbs)
• Replaced fuel pump (since replacing hitch required dropping fuel tank)
• Replaced driver's seat foam cushion
• New 2-piece driveshaft and driveshaft boot (to quell vibration)
• New transmission pan gasket, extension housing gaskets, new transmission screen, new transmission fluid
• New PCV valve
• New windshield (stone cracked original)
• Recharged AC refrigerant
• New shift column bushings
• All exhaust manifold bolts replaced as preventive measure
• New serp belt
• New Sears DieHard AGM Battery
• Rear Roadmaster Suspension system
• Rear Hellwig stabilizer bar
• Concealed X/K radar band detector with dash lights
I have the OEM in-dash stereo and air intake assembly -- they come with the truck.
