Older Gray Lights - free! Almost

Hi all,
We upgraded our interior lights to LED's. I have 4 of the older, original gray fixtures that I want to rehome. At least 2 of them the "click" bar to keep the light in place is off kilter. Now, if you want them, send me your address. I'll pack them up and get a shipping price. No handling fees! PayPal is preferred, but PO MO okay also. Probably best to email me at

melkavitch(at)gmail.com

First answer gets them. I just can't take them to the dump and really need to get them out of my way.
Thanks,
Mike

How do you like your new LED's? I'm about to look into that, and wondering what you bought/like? Thanks!

Hey sufrnfire,
After 14 years we decided to go LED! We've replaced some of the stripbulbs with LED's and the difference is amazing.
The lights we got were at Camping World. Here is the link

Brushed Nickel LED Cluster Reading Light - ITC 69922N13.5KF-DB - Light Fixtures - Camping World

I'm not sure the link will work so here is the description:
Brushed Nickel LED Cluster Reading Light

These provide much better, brighter light than the old gray ones. Installation is easy, just make sure, as I didn't do on the first one, that you put the collar BEFORE you connect the wires. The other thing I found useful is to use the push in connectors on the wiresvthat can be easily unconnected when you forget to put the collar on!
We got four, for the sides of the van where we hang out and read. They swivel wonderfully and the base doesn't get out of kilter as the gray ones did and then they just flop.
Let me know if you have other questions.
Mike
