Sold!!

Hello,

I am dropping the price to $45k.

I am selling my Sportsmobile. Hope it is not considered too rude around here to popup with something for sale since I haven't contributed anything to this forum. This van has 4 Captain Chairs, the 2 in the middle can be easily removed, a sink, refrigerator, outside shower, 2 couches that fold out into a bed, power inverter, starcool a/c heater that only works when plugged in, 3 Gal hot water tank, and a 10 gal water tank.

The van is located in San Antonio, TX.

Re: 2005 Ford E350 6.0 Diesel Sportsmobile 71k $50k

I only have my learner's permit to pose questions here, but can you tell me about the maint/hist on your 6.0?

Have you replaced the turbo?
Have you replaced the stock head bolts with head studs?
How 'bout the EGR valve and/or cooler?

At first blush, the internet indicates the the 6.0 is the albatross around the neck of 02-07 Fords. A slightly deeper inquiry seems to indicate that the three/four known weaknesses in that motor all have mitigations.

It is a really nice van you've got; the quad seating up front would suit our application nicely.

(I am a mere lookie-lou/dreamer at this point).

Thanks!

EDIT TO ADD: I am not as smart as this post makes me seem. I lifted my 6.0 information from the 4-Wheel site. http://www.fourwheeler.com/techartic..._issue_solved/

Is that a EB31? The 31 and 27 are my favorites and there are not a lot of used ones around. If yours was only a few years older and ~$20K cheaper, I'd be all over it.

The PH bed is the plain gray surface tilted in the last picture, the PH beds clip with cable loops to the top and raise out of the way- in the pic only the front two cables are on.

And it doesn't have the arms in the X of the PH that would indicate an electric, but there are other ways to lift one if manual is not an option.

Sorry about missing these posts. I have been checking in here but for some reason they didn't popup on my laptop. It is a manual bed and it is still for sale. I haven't heard of the terms EB31 but if that is referring to extended body it is not an extended body.
