OK I have 4wd Ambulance (for a home build) on its way and the HOA would like me to store this elsewhere so it has to go
1994 E250 RB with a 5.8 gas engine. 144K miles.
Pop top/penthouse with sleeping for 2 up top.
Walk through design with dinette/bed in the rear (seat belts for 6 but I think 4 would make it more comfortable),
Starcool (110v AC),
microwave,
fridge,
swivel front seats.
Portapotti (stores in cupboard).
Water tank,
pump,
house batteries,
converter,
sink
stove is only a single burner portable unit (no propane which i see as a plus but others may have different idea on that)
Interior is in good condition except for the a couple of spots where the MDF is swelling (photos below)
Good running condition. I would not hesitate to drive it across the country tomorrow (if the boss would give me the time off
)
Recently replaced: (Since July)
Battery,
radiator,
distributor,
MAP sensor,
Ignition Control Module,
plugs, leads, rotor cap, rotor button.
New shocks all around (nothing special just what i could get on the trip home from picking it up)
transmission flush and service.
New windshield before it is sold.
Known issues/observations:
Stripes are cracked.
Suspension is very smooth but too soft for my liking.
Airbag light flashes sometimes. (Diagnosed as the "Clock Spring")
Tires are the ones I pulled from my other van and have plenty of tread but have uneven wear.
Will need the usual Ford rear gutter repair.
$7500 OBO and would prefer to sell it to someone local who can check it all out for themselves or someone who has contacts here in Phoenix to get it checked out.
One of the good features is the recesses in both sides for your feet/head. Give the bed another 6 inches. I had another van that did not have this and it makes a lot difference.
