**SOLD 2006 Ford E250 SMB Lifted Excellent Condition SOLD**

2006 5.4L E250 V8 RB SMB 54k miles
Action Van Ultimate Suspension Lift with Limited Slip Rear Differential (4x2)

Sleeps 4, two on Gaucho / bed, two in PH bed.
Seats 5, 3 seat belts on Gaucho / sofa.

The Following was done by Action Van in San Clemente: 6" Lift, Limited Slip Rear Differential, Wheel Spacers, Dana Spicer Gearing, Carr Steps, BFG tires, Aluminess Spare Carrier, Lightbar / Baja Designs lights. I had them do the "Ultimate" kit including upgraded radius arms and edelbrock shocks.
Action Van does top notch work, I did a lot of research before I had the work done, including input from several regulars on this forum who recommended them.
They did other upgrades as well, custom light bar, mounted lights and added switch etc.
More info here:

Re: 4x2 6" lift w/ limited slip rear differential etc. vs. full 4x4 conversion.
I did a lot of research before I had Action Van do the work. Consulting as many folks as I could.
I was told by several friends who are off road enthusiasts and some members on this forum,
that I would be able to get all of the places I wanted to go, ie. dirt roads, sometimes steep and mildly rocky. But I would not be able to go full on off roading, rock crawling. Even then, at the time they said I could get 90% of the places they go in 4x4 SMB's, this has proven true, clearance will get you pretty far and the rear differential provides extra traction when needed. I'm glad I opted for a less complex system and I didn't shell out thousands I would never have needed. There is nothing but standard maintenance needed (fluids), I bought this van to support my hobbies, not to become a hobby in and of itself. (Btw- I added this after several folks have asked about the lift etc.)

Top open Removable Fridge (runs on both house batts or live power with flick of a switch), Stereo w/bluetooth, bk up camera. Cabinet w/ full slide out drawers, Under floor storage, Dedicated GPS / Aux dash switch. Sink (fresh water tank holding capacity: 16.5 Gallons). Newer house battery. UltraGuage OBD II Monitor.
K&N Air Filter, Synthetic oil changed like clockwork.
Has always been garaged. Has Low Profile PH Top, clearance is about 7'6"
With the Action Van upgrades, This van DRIVES AMAZING!
When I initially had the work done (by Action Van), I was skeptical when everyone said it would drive better lifted, geared etc. but they were right, so much better than a stock van, more stable, better handling and acceleration.

Many other upgrades such as LED bulbs in all house lamps, carpet floor overlay, dash cover, privacy curtains, day / night blinds etc.

This SMB is clean and very well cared for.
Recent complete service done, new plugs, oil, fluids...

It's ready for adventure!

I have all receipts and records.
See more photos in my gallery.
I intend to keep the cargo box bike rack.
Located in Southern California.
PM me with any questions or email me at: rideontm@gmail.com
Thanks for looking!

Nice looking rig, GLWS. Is there anything behind the full height cabinet or is that open space back there?

I agree, really nice van and excellent ad! That's quite a frig you have in there, too.

Did you add the drawers to the rear cabinet? I have the same cabinet in the back of my van (actually, two of them) and I've been thinking of adding drawers exactly like that.

One other question: I'm curious about your "dedicated GPS with switch." More details/photo?

That's one reason I love for sale ads... you get to see all the cool stuff people have done to their vans!

I have the same portable fridge and it works great. And check out the price compared to ARB or Engel (which I also have)

Thanks everyone!

Answers:
Nothing behind tall cabinet. It's nice to have the open space to store sleeping bags, chairs, whatever. You could also hang clothing behind it.

Yes I added the drawers to the cabinet. It was a relatively simple addition but makes such as big difference. So much easier to access and organize whatever is in the drawers, as opposed to shelves, where you can't find anything in the back of the shelf. All of the drawers are full extension slides allowing full view of the contents.

The dedicated GPS / Aux. switch is just a simple toggle switch (next to the one that operates the front off road lights) I tapped into the power under the dash. Sorry don't have a pic.

Yeah that fridge is perfect, works great, quiet running, no issues!

Re: ***For Sale 2006 Ford E250 SMB Lifted Excellent Conditio

I've received questions about the Gaucho...
Gaucho bed dimensions are: 72"x43"
That said I'm 6'1" and have no problem sleeping on it.
Also I understand SMB makes extensions for these as well.
Thanks
