Has the seller even responded on this? I don't think the van is currently for sale but if we are playing the price is right I will offer $8,001.

Maybe If I get this van I can dollar cost average all of my sportsmobile expenditures into the supposed market range.

I do appreciate all of the looks my ad has received, especially the support and even some of the heckling. I am still in Colorado and therefore the van is not quite available for sale again. I am pretty attached to my van, probably like most SMB owners, because they are simply awesome. I have been traveling for the past year and the van has done fantastically. I don't really need to sell it but I do want to share the experience it has given me. I'm at a point where I can't use the van every day or even every weekend and I feel that such a great piece of equipment deserves better than that. I'm not sure what my plans are for the summer yet, but be assured that when I am available to show the van (some people like to actually look at a van before they judge) I will post another ad to the forum. Until then...
