The most interesting van is up for sale!! 2003 DieselEB

It makes me ill to even think about parting with her. I am buying a house and need the mula for down payment. So sorry no trades. It took me over a year to put this together. I went to Fresno SMB to order a new van. I ran the options and the trick stuff up to $130,000.00. I just couldn't do it. I decided to build my own. I do Special Effects in the movie business since 1976 so I know my way around the machine, welding, sheetmetal cabinet shops. Have built boats, race cars, trucks, tralers, I don't cut corners and only perfect is good enough. If this was built at the SMB factory which there is no way they are set up for this style construction the man hours would have been over $100K. There is no particle board, no wood screws, no sheetmetal screws, No wasted space, no problems. I started out with a 4wd EB 7.3 diesel the last year of powerstroke. It had quigley 4x4 and a spotsmobile penthouse top. I pretty much copied the 50 floorplan. I bought a few things from SMB the awning, the counter, the swivel seat bases. the rest was fabricated it has a fold out bed w/ insane black and grey Leather upholstery which my upholsterer says it is the same as Lexus. Front seats, with back pockets arm rests, no naugahide panels pure leather it is sexy. All the interior panels behind the cabinets are 1/8" aluminum diamond plate turned back out so the diamond pattern is very faint powder coated with grey hammertone all mounted with nutsers and S.S. machine screws. All the cabinets are steel rectangle frames that are powder coated and has bamboo plywood inserts that are mounted with nutserts and stainless steel button head 10-32 machine screws. Call for more details and components. I am out of room and just started. All the best SMB options plus way way more. Bumper to bumper the best of the best. Call me for photo's and more details. 2003 diesel EB 7.3 power stroke 32,000 miles 4x4 penthouse
Hello folks, I tried to post an add a couple of days ago but I cant find it in the classifieds. Photo's are in the Gallery and this is the most custom of all SMB's built by pros in a monster shop that has produced epic projects. Call me for details if you are REALLY interested. I am selling it to buy a house so I need cash. No trades. It is very special with interior equal to limo but built tough. Thanks Scott 818-335-8241 check out some photos in the gallery "scottpyro"

Re: for sale?

If you're really inclined to sell you rig, a couple of thoughts;

- Remove the question mark from your post title. Are you thinking about selling or are you selling?
- Include as much specific information as possible (7.3L or 6.0 engine, 2wd or 4wd, SMB interior conversion and configuration model?, color, penthouse or fixed top, break out the "goodies",...
- Mileage
- Asking price
- Condition
- Location
- Pictures, pictures, pictures

Re: for sale?

Herb,

Very good advice for others posting for sale notices, but this post is over a year old. Wonder why it didn't get any replies?

Re: for sale?

What I find strange is that there is a post from me, that reactivated this thread, that I never posted....?....

Re: for sale?

You are now entering The Twilight Zone.

The real questions are:1) Who is scottpyro?, and 2) Which Admin approved such a lame post?

BTW, I'm selling my beautiful home in Las Vegas, unless someone wants to trade me for a house in a gorgeous location on a lake surrounded by lots of green pine trees.

Sure, the same place where it was heard that you were done spending money on your SMB.

Re: The most interesting van is up for sale!! 2003 DieselEB

I think I spoke to the owner of this SMB just a few days ago.

I recollect the asking price to be in the $60,000 range.

I don't want to be held to that but I believe he said that to me.
