I am trying to locate the adapter block that SMB used for the Amsoil remote dual filter set-ups. The previous owner of my van removed the remote oil filter system that was installed by SMB and now the stock oil filter hits the front drive shaft when I pull the sway bar pins.
I checked with Peter at SMB West and they don't have the parts for a van this old. Amsoil and Sinister Diesel are also no-gos. If I can find the adapter that bolts to the block I can get the filter mounts from Sinister or Amsoil.
Maybe you removed the remote oil filter system to make servicing easier or maybe you have a lead on a Sportsmobile van that has been salvaged or scrapped. Please PM me at
