Wanted: Aluminess deluxe box

Looking for a deluxe box, new or used but less than the $675 Aluminess rakes you for.

Look at underbed boxes, semi and trailer storage. I'm pretty sure you could turn them sideways.

That Aluminess deal is the rarest thing I've probably ever seen, I doubt you'll find the like.

Re: Wanted: Aluminess deluxe box

Ditto on the Aluminess products... MONEY VERY WELL SPENT!!. I bought the deluxe box listed above (the very box) Some of the best money that I have ever spent. Plus the gang at Aluminess are some if not the coolest people that I have run into. I just used the box on a 4K road trip out to Austin Texas for the Holidays. I had the Honda EU 2000 generator, lock and cable, a couple gallons of fuel, tool kit, saw and axe as well as a bunch of dura flames. So nice to get all of that gear out of the van and the ability to lock it is an added bonus!

That's what I used. So far so good, closing in on 1.5 yrs since built. I think I paid $50 for the box at the local farm supply store (scratch and dent priced.... figured it wasn't any worse than what I'd put it through, and i was right). I built my own bracket which is welded to the hinge, and the bracket bolts to the box so I can swap it easy if I damage it.
