WANTED: Autohome Airtop

Hey guys, if you have one of those collecting dust or know of one for sale in the $1600 range please let me know as that's what I'm planing to use to imitate the SMB popup roof for my ambo...

Cheers
Mr. D

WANTED: Autohome Airtop

Exactly.

I looked at other options (VW' top, CCV...) but it would either end up costing more or being more complicated. Seems like the flat bottom of the Maggiolina would fit the flat roof of my ambo perfectly. That's the plan anyway!

Cheers
Mr. D

Re: WANTED: Autohome Airtop

Have you looked at the rooftop tents made by TopBunkUSA? This may be what you mean by saying you looked into CCV, since I think he sells them or used to sell them, but I was thinking they were cheaper and about the same product. On his website it says they are about $1600.

Re: WANTED: Autohome Airtop

TopBunkUSA is made by Colorado Camper Vans, I believe it's his version of the RTT.

WANTED: Autohome Airtop

Thanks for the link! I'm familiar with his camper mods but didn't know he was also making a RTT, cool!

Can't say I prefer it (or not) over Maggiolina but its good to have options especially if they are cheaper$... Although I think his $1600 price tag is just for the hard shell, no fabric walls, no mattress, no ladder...

Still hunting for a used Airtop though!

Cheers
