Wanted: Day/Night Blinds for forward Side Door

I'm hoping someone has the blinds that go on the forward side door laying around their garage. I would be great if they're tan, but beggers can't be choosers. Let me know soon how much you want to ship them to 80233.

Yeah the cord wore through. I've restrung house blinds myself, but I wasn't sure if it was doable on these and the right cord is expensive.

I was hoping someone didn't like them and pulled them off in favor of something else. Me Lazy.

well if you dont find anyone, Speciality will do 'em up for you at no charge and they're pretty fast getting back. let me know if you need the address in Indiana, may also be a sticker on the bottom of the shade.

For what it is worth I found the cord material here http://www.blindsparts.com/servlet/StoreFront. I had one break on a trip so it became a real nuisance. Of course it is almost impossible to find the correct cord material unless you go to a specialty shop. They are kind of a pain to get strung correctly, just takes a little patience. I now carry some extra in my van for any in trip repairs. They carry a lot of colors.

I sent the blinds back to Indiana last week. I pointed out that the grommet the cord runs through is damaged, and tearing the cord. We'll see how they come back.

Well the grommets are still damaged so I put them back a little loose to prevent cord damage. Also they came back with the cords a little too short, so don't tighten those knots until you test fit!

Otherwise it was free, except shipping too, which you can't beat as it was less than replacement cord. At a certain age van you have to pay shipping back too, but they'll still take care of their window shades.

While looking for some floor mount Captain's seat brackets (so I can sell my unused extra Captain's seats), I came across these two sources for RV shades.

http://www.v-sales.com/vsalesshades.htm

BTW, if anyone knows a source for the Captain's seats brackets (the portion that remains attached to the van floor) please let me know. SMB no longer carries them, so it's kind of a challenging sale on my extra seats until I find some.
