WANTED: OEM power mirror

Hi, I need a right hand mirror for my 2009 E250 (don't ask why...).

The parts book says:

part number 17682
Ford
Door Mirror
Dual Sail Mtd Power Mirrors ; RH, Black, One Piece Design

I just need the main body - my motor and glass are still mostly good.

Anybody have one left after upgrading etc?

no leftovers here, but try www.car-parts.com . looked them up for the 2006's and the price ranges from 40 bucks to 150 for the telescoping sail mount pwr versions, but didnt know exactly which ones you had. take the time to call the places that dont list a price. ive got some screaming deals that way.

Wow, that car-parts is a cool site, never used it. There are several available for about half the new price.

Does anybody have experience with cheap aftermarket replacements? I found one on ebay for $50 free shipping or $80 for a pair.

Re: WANTED: OEM power mirror

My brother bought some ebay mirrors and he said the mirror part is shaky when driving. Not sure if that's the case for all aftermarket mirrors though. If you can get a set of OEM ones, that would probably be best.

Re: WANTED: OEM power mirror

its a very handy site. keep in mind all the parts are off salvaged cars in junkyards. so be thorough when inquiring about parts and always request all hardware. parts that sell locally for 125ish ive been able to get for 20 bucks from that site. ive found that buying civic parts from down south is insanely cheap. must not be much demand for hondas that way. not sure if theres parts of the country to specifically look for van parts as they seem popular most everywhere

i have a set of the cheapy ebay mirrors. not power mind you, but just the telescoping tow mirrors. im really happy with them so far. theyve been slapped up against the doors many times by branches & bushes and seem to be holding up well.

unlike mikracers brother, the glass in them is solid. they dont shake at all, even when we got the bumps going. its always a crapshoot with non oem though.

Dorman makes a good quality aftermarket.
