You might want to post your location in your profile or post to help people
know where you are?

Re: Wanted: Rear captain chair

I'm sure there are plenty of places in Indiana, home of all the RV/van converter supply houses, where you could pick up a seat and base. Probably not too much out of your way if you are driving from SLC to Ohio.

Maybe SMB Indiana could hook you up... have you called them? When I bought my van I asked them if they would install a third chair in my SMB, but they apparently don't do any retrofitting of older vans. But maybe they would at least sell you the chair.

Otherwise, I see used captain's chairs from conversion vans all the time on Craigslist. That's where I got mine.

Re: Wanted: Rear captain chair

Thank you. Yes I have tried smb north first and they will not sell nor install. You figure they would. Smb west was nice and said they would sell and install but very pricey and I would need to drive all the way to California from here in Ohio. I have a short window as I am picking up my smb there in dlc and I will be in Salt Lake with it next Thur/Fri and back to Ohio by Sunday. Thank you as will keep checking here as it would be nice to have a match and also will keep checking craigslist as well. I appreciate the help and look forward to picking her up.

Austin is not that far out of the way, if you could take some time off and get it done- assuming Austin will do it.

Re: Wanted: Rear captain chair

Thanks for everyone's help. I found a 2003 Dodge Caravan rear captain bucket on CL here locally that matches my int color. Shipping was too crazy. Gotta find some floor mounts next which could be a journey and how to attach to the smb floor without too much damage.
