WANTED: REAR Old Man Emu Shock-needed by Tuesday

So in preparation for a trip this week I was crawling under the van today and noticed that my passenger side rear shock absorber's top stud sheered off and the shock was just sitting to the side.

Anyone have one lying around? I know some of you guys upgraded to Bilsteins and maybe you kept your old ones?

I will upgrade when I get my new Deavers in the Summer but in the meantime I could really use a used one.

Anyone got one you could sell me and Fedex me out Monday (i will give you my FedEx number).

I am going on a trip this week so timing is terrible.

Thanks in advance.

steve

Makes you wonder how long it's been busted.

from the wear, it looks like it might have been for a while, at least since my last trip.

enough of the jokes . I need to get this fixed.

Go to Dirty Parts on Washington Blvd. They can either replace it or sell you a pair of new ones.

Something really has to be wrong with the geometry or the length of the shock to break it. Could you have hit it on something?

Was this the issue? http://www.sportsmobileforum.com/vie...php?f=13&t=124 If so SMB should give you a new set of shocks and bushings.

Re: WANTED: REAR Old Man Emu Shock-needed by Tuesday

Sorry Steve, I called and had my kid see if I still had them and they are not there. I had been holding on to them waiting on new parts from SMB. I got all the parts I needed about a month ago and must have tossed them at some point.
