Wanted Sportsmobile 4x4 w. Voyager type top

Update: 6/19/14 FOUND IT! AM BUYING IT! NO LONGER LOOKING...

THANKS!!!

(Original post is below...

***** Want to buy Sportsmobile with 4x4 and Voyager type (hard raised) top (not the popup top). Need interior amenities like the bed, generator, heater, toilet, sink, etc. Must have the 4x4 for use on snowy roads - to go skiing. Not going off roading. Want to pay under $45,000. (Would rather pay much less than that of course ;-) Must be within a couple hundred miles of Carson City, Nevada. I might not check this forum very much, so please call me. (I will post again if I find one.) Thanks! ***** )

Seems like that one is right in your wheel house. I think it meets pretty much every one of your conditions.

Haha, no. Its not my SMB that I'm trying to sell so if the OP decides to check back on his thread, he can see that I tried to "help"...?

Yes mkracer that one is perfect. I talked to Lynne and another buyer is ahead of me so if that sale doesn't go through it is what I will get, as long as there is 6'2" interior standup headspace.

Still looking because I bet the pending sale goes through.

Thanks!!!

Just a head's up. Or in your case a bent over head's down.

Specs for both can be found at:

http://www.sportsmobile.com/1_fixedtops.html

I have the Voyager top. I am 5'11" which means I am good to go with the 6' interior height unless I have ski boots on or a helmet on.

At 6'2", you may need the Cruiser II top with an interior height of 6'8".

Re: Wanted Sportsmobile 4x4 w. Voyager type top

Just food for thought: I'm 6'5" and can still stand-up in a Voyager top. Granted, my head touches the ceiling and I have to tilt it a bit, but I've felt fine standing in the galley or moving about from the front of the van to the back (EB-50 layout). Plus, I can look out the top-mounted windows too A non-Cruiser won't be a deal killer; there certainly seems to be more Voyager-topped SMB's out there than Cruiser/Cruiser II's.
