Not any. Any year from the same OEM with the same roof line.

Im not sure if i would rather have an EB now for the challenge/extra room/looks better or if I want and RB. Guess that means i'll take either!

Well somehow I have an iron in the fire with an RB top, located less than an hour away from me.

Now all i have to do is convince this member that he should sell it to me!

This van NEEDS a penthouse haha

FYI - My van is mired in insurance process "hell"

I'll ask about how "somebody would like to buy a possibly salvageable part" might happen -- but not yet. For the moment the focus is on getting their complicated process to work as well as it can.

I plan on an update to the original thread after that process is complete.

two ways.. one, you ask to buy the entire van back from the insurance company - who will own it once you accept a settlement. and two, you find out what junkyard it lives at, and try to buy it from them once the insurance company settles. or you post that location here and let people fight over it!

what does a totaled sportsmobile run? That would be quite the task to figure that out. My guess is it gets valued pretty low.

As another data point.....I bought (and had to remove) an RB penthouse off of an older van for $2K. I could have bought the van with the roof for $2700 but had nowhere to put the van and didn't want it...

Rally is leaving out a few minor details.....like he canvas was toast.......

Yes. I just like to throw out the $140 number!

I had to buy new canvas, new gaskets, resleeve the arms, etc.. I was in about $1200 once all said and done.
