SOLD: Whynter 85QT. Fridge/ Freezer 12v / 24V / 110V
$450.00 Located in Costa Mesa, CA 92627
Retails on Amazon at $535.00
I have had a Whynter 65 qt Fridge in my van running full time off a solar system for over 10 years. 11 days before leaving on a 32 day Mexico trip, the temperature would not stay stable.
I purchased this larger open box 85 qt, fridge from Whynter company to get me through while my 65 qt was being repaired.
The 65 qt and the 85 QT have the same width and depth so it fit right into the dedicated opening in the van. The 85 qt is too tall for my liking even though it held more items.
I am offering this slightly used replacement 2019 model 85 qt fridge for what I paid for it from Whynter Co. 3 months ago.
From the website:
This Whynter Portable Fridge / Freezer offers premium quality and innovative design to your frozen/refrigerated needs. This freezer is great for RVs, boats, campsites, fishing trips and truly portable so you can take your fridge / freezer anywhere! All you need is either a standard household 110 Volt outlet or a 12 Volt power source, like an automotive battery.
Whether on a day trip or major expedition, you can easily keep your food and beverages chilled, or frozen with this benchtop freezer. The Whynter portable freezers should not to be confused with less effective 12 volt novelty and beverage type “coolers”, the Whynter portable freezer fridge is a true freezer/refrigerator which cools between -6°F to 50°F. A cost effective and mobile solution for your recreational and critical freezing requirements.

Thanks for the Props!
Whynter company in Brea, CA repaired my 10 year old fridge by replacing the compressor controller, Temperature controller and the Power supply with upgraded parts, including labor, for only $95.00. They included new power cords too.
Customer service was supreme!

That was a smokin' deal on a repair, that's for sure.

That is my new favorite for my redo of the transformer particle board devils tower currently in my van.
Did you take off the door clasps?

Yes, I had removed the side handles and the front clasps. The fridge door is heavy enough to stay closed without the clasps.
