Dang, are those "D" rated tires by chance?
I won't ever buy a BFG tire based on my experience with them...

Yes, D Rated and the rims are stamped 65 max PSI. The PO said they were newer but the one that blew and another one are 11 years old!

Definitely go "E" rated on your next tire purchase. I really like the Goodyear Dura Trac, but you will have many opinions and options.

When I went from D to E, I found that E rated also firmed up the handling somewhat.

No Luck. Used slightly scraped aft- port side; new fore and aft- starboard...
Turns out getting outta my chair wouldn't take two days after all! That's good news on the need to take a shower front.

Yo! Before I actually Do Get Up, this dudes looking for BUSHWACKERS first... ok, signing off. Granny's chirping, dogs are circling the bowls, green beetles are eating the peaches... uh, and I am back out to the yard to check My tire rating!

I just had the same thing happen with E rated All Terrain TA's with about 9K miles on them. Mine was a driver side rear so I have the passenger rear Bushwacker in the garage. No help for you unfortunately.
