Airflow and aesthetics debate aside, do facelifted vans sell for more $$? Obviously a newer van that came with that front end has some value, I'm asking about an older van that gets the new look.

Be aware that they know the value of them.

Yeah they do, I have called a few of them and they total anywhere from $1800-$2k

I swooped up the set from AZ. I left Friday at 2pm and spent the night at my friend a house then got back around 1:30pm on Sat. Time to swap parts!

I would assume so but I have no intention to sell it. This was a pure aesthetic deal for me. I think it looks better, plus I had to replace the driver fender anyways so why not make it more modern. Plus I may have a side project dealing with the front end, we’ll see if I can make it happen.

[emoji1360]I will also make a how to video since I couldn’t find one on you tube. Just for convenience for others. Seems pretty basic I know but hey if it helps someone out then it would be worth it.

What kind of wiring if any will I have to do? Or do they just plug in (wishful thinking)?

they sell the pigtail adapters for the headlight conversion on ebay, can't recall what exact type. You will also have to rig up something for the transmission cooler bracket and the stick that holds the hood up.

So I started the swap and came accross some questionable things...along the top of the new fender only one bolt even lines up ( the one closest to the windshield). What do you do to support the very front of the fender? Just tap new holes? Also the whole Grille assembly does it attached to the core support at all (by tapping new holes)? I can only line up the grille with the fenders and they don’t have any support in the front.
