WTB- Ford EB Center Aisle Layout, 6.0 Diesel
Thought I would go ahead and throw this out there. I am looking to possible replace my 2002 Ford EB-50 Quigley 4x4 with a center aisle layout like the EB-11 or similar. Preferably diesel, lower miles, Rear W dinette, electric top, SMB 4x4, Espar heater.
Anyone have one of these lying around?
Thanks!

The more specific your needs, the more likely your are to have to buy new.
Generally, if someone wants to sell they list it. Otherwise they want to keep it. Of course, if you see a van you like and make an offer they can't refuse then you will have a van.
You could buy mine. But, I'll guarantee you won't like the price.

Re: WTB- Ford EB Center Aisle Layout, 6.0 Diesel
A thought:
you know your rig and its mechanical stuff
if you had the center aisle lay out would you keep it??
if so, consider a remodel
gotta consider the cost to sell your rig
buy another one
the cost difference
dialing in the new rig
paying to fix what breaks on the new one
i would figure a $10,000 actual hard cost to switch rigs
for $10,000 you could could have a dialed in custom interior in your
existing rig.........
just a thought

Maybe it's because he knows his rig and it's mechanical stuff...
But seriously, trashing a perfectly good interior is wasteful just because you want something different. At some point the rest of the vehicle is not worth a $10,000 interior (not that I've ever seen lactic's van, just his avatar!). Putting a good van back in the pipeline of used vehicles and getting an upgrade for yourself in the process sounds like a good idea to me.
That is, lactic, I'm assuming you're selling when you find another one?

Re: WTB- Ford EB Center Aisle Layout, 6.0 Diesel
My current van is in good shape mechanically. I am considering going full time in the van for a year-long North American adventure so I'm taking this opportunity to possibly dial in the setup that would most perfectly meet my needs. The EB-50 layout has been fine but I am a little tired of crawling on the bed to get to the cabinets as well as having to pop the back doors to get to all of that storage.
That being said, I am also looking at the possibility of just adding the electric top, adding a Thule box for storage (snowboards, fly rods, etc), swapping the steel Road Armor bumpers out for a bike-carrying Aluminess setup, and living with what I have. It's better to have any Sportsmobile after all than to never have owned one at all!
The other option might be to grab one of the used center aisle rigs from the "Used" section and see how much Sportsmobile West would charge to rearrange the layout. No new pieces needed but I imagine it would not be cheap.
Oh, the possibilities!
