WTT My 08 Diesel Pusher Class A for SMB

If anyone is looking to sell their SMB to get into a larger camper, please consider this 2008 Holiday Rambler Neptune XL 39 PBT. I'm asking 125,000 or would like to trade with a newer Diesel SMB 4x4. The coach has about 19,000 miles and has better cabinets and furnishings than my 1st condominium (solid wood, stainless steel, corian). 2 x LCDs, DVD, Satellite, etc....too much to list.

I also have an 87 Suzuki Samurai (I'll upload pics soon) and 09 Infiniti FX35 that I can trade for an SMB.

I'm a recently retired sailor (US Navy) who's kids have grown...so I'd like to consolidate some vehicles and get a daily driver SMB that I can take camping.

Thanks for looking!

Dave

That honestly is the closest thing to something someone might trade for an SMB ever posted. Usually it's a 2001 Kia or something equally bad...

Git ol' Ujoint to put a 4wd under it and you might not want to trade after all

Here's some more pics... The wife really doesn't want to give it up (especially the bathroom and shower), but I convinced her to list it on RVtrader soooo... I'll end up with a SMB one way or another.

If you sell it outright you could go buy any new SMB you want, and pay it out right! No used SMB is worth 125K!! Not even close! Just go to SMB website and check out there used inventory, highest used one is 75k! Most are 50k and under.

Thanks Mykdee, but I was looking to get some cash back for the difference in value of the vehicles. I have been on the SMB website and have been looking for quite awhile, but finally got the OK from the wife.

I have also just listed the coach on RVtrader, so if it sells before a trade offer, then I'll purchase one (or wait a little longer for a MBZ Sprinter 4x4.

Is the wife aware you downsizing (upgrading) the class A? That might be a fun surprise.

Yes, she knows about the downsizing (she says downgrading), but she also knows how envious I've been of my brother's SMB.... and I promised her more trips to nice hotels.

A hotel pit stop every 3rd-4th night sure does seem to keep my cook happy.

What is that thing like on the road? My wife drives the SMB, it's a big plus and she finds it easier than her truck.

"Think about it hon, we can park in a PARKING SPOT!"
"The neighbors won't complain when we visit your parents."¹
"We can park this in a culdesac, a culdesac! We can fit in a culdesac!"

Hard to go with heater and icecream when you're coming from a class A, which is my usual suggested argument. What's your brother think about all this?

¹While technically not true it's still a good aguement.
