1981 van with a rusty front tray, worth it ?

Found this, and the seller finally offered up this picture of the front. The inside of the van is PERFECT.
Like 50,000 miles perfect. It's a few miles away from me, and. I was excited to buy it. If this were the first photo he sent, I would never have looked twice! Anybody want to comment or advise? He wasn't trying to cheat me, he's just not a car guy...
Have a great weekend guys!

My advice, walk away.
That looks like rust on both inside and outside of the window. Notice the marks from what looks like tape around the windshield. I'm betting this van was sitting a long while with plastic over it. Rust can really get a hold in that circumstance. Might have gotten into the firewall.

I agree with Dave here, I would pass on this one. Unless it's just so cheap you can buy it for parts to add to a better candidate. Rust like that is not just going to look bad, it's going to cause more headaches because there will always be moisture getting in the van. Can you show pics of the rest?
