Here's the vehicle I drove during the war. It was a lot of fun driving over stuff with it. I'd like to have it now to romp around in the desert. Except it wasn't at all comfortable and very muggy in the heat.

I found some pictures of the inside of an M706. Of course this vehicle is a lot cleaner than the one I drove, but it shows the drivers seat just as I remember it. The seat raised and lowered so you could drive with the hatch open or closed. When closed one had to drive looking through those little windows. It was a bugger driving at night with the hatch closed.

This place retro's tanks and what not. The guy is restoring it for one of his customers. The machine guns were off...they operate w/o ammo but sound like the real thing using air
