4 Sightings in one day-all at seperate times (SoCal)

Other that our forum rally in January, I don' think I have seen so many SMB's in one day.

Yesterday- 2 in Venice near the boardwalk (one older white Ford with a blue stripe, one new looking Chevy lifted-very nice). Then one in Santa Monica on Wilshire Baja tan color, I gave the guy the thumbs up. Then one near the 405 freeway at Santa Monica Blvd.

Any of you guys on this board?

SMB sightings

Hi Steve,
I don't think you saw me, but I am usually parked in the Venice beach parking lot in the mornings with my SMB. (When the wife and kids allow me to surf.) There is another SMB owner that lives right near the boardwalk, and his is white. Could have been him. Also the couple that turned me on to the forum own a SMB and live in Venice. There seems to be quite a few in the area. Hopefully we will cross paths soon. I am hoping to make the Socal meet and greet in Bolsa Chica.

Right on Norm! Welcome to the forum. I often drive down Lincoln or Pacific. I see you are in Culver City. Is yours white or tan? My sister teaches in CC and saw a SMB recently there.

Thanks for the welcome Steve. The color of my van is "Pueblo Gold" (official name). I would love to post a picture as soon as I learn how.
I just saw another SMB at the Dirty Parts store on Washington, with the plates "OLAS4US". Do you know the owner? Where do you take your van to be serviced?

Norm,
I can walk you through posting a photo. Send me a PM and I can reply or call you.

I used to go to DirtyParts for Jeep accessories (i.e. PIAA lights, etc). I don't know who "OLAS4US" is.

So far I haven't had to do any work on the van other than routine fluid changes and the like. I take it to a shop in SM near my office and they are very reasonable and nice. But again this is all basic stuff. The mechanic owns a F250 so he is somehat familiar with Ford stuff.

I hope to see you around town. You can't miss me. I have a white 4x4 with Yellow Lightforce lights. I wear alot of gold chains (see my photo at left)

Feel free to PM me.

steve
