4x4 pickup.

My Chevy is on its last leg and I can't live without a pickup. I hope I can find one to tow behind my SMB and this might fit my needs...I'd like to see it happen.

Re: 4x4 pickup.

Dave,

I'll sell you my Chevy for alot less than the Jeep will set you back.

Full size 99 Silverado, V8 5spd Manual, 4x4, 3.73. I get 22 highway, 17 town.

Use a tow bar that fits either one and you can use it to pull your van to the dealer next time it quits!

Personally, I'm not particularly fond of Jeeps, but this one is cool looking if nothing else. Modeled after the old M715. Maybe it will be built?

Almost could have used something to get my rig to the shop...the fuel regulator started leaking a few days ago but I was able to dirve it in. Only 300 bucks to fix it though.
Actually I'm still thinking about rebuilding my chevy...it's been the most trouble free vehicle I've ever owned but now it needs paint, a new A/C compressor and a little engine work. Hopefully those Jeep pickups will come in around 30K that is if they even build them. I'd like to have a smaller 4x4 vehicle for some of those roads the van has trouble squeezing in on.

Re: 4x4 pickup.

I daydream a lot about turning my Jeep TJ into a "Brute" style vehicle (Brute was an AEV modification of new Jeeps

The best vehicle Jeep ever made was the Comanche and I've owned a few:

Mid-build 4x4 conversion another:

The only thing they lacked in my opinion was cab room, and that's the main reason I don't own one right now. Of course the TJ is the second best Jeep vehicle, so the Brute on the TJ platform is my second dream vehicle. Here's more info, although probably out of date:

Re: 4x4 pickup.

I've looked at the brute kit but I'm hopeing these new Jeep trucks will have more room and maybe a better mileage diesel. Tell me this wouldn't look good behind your van. And it's your color.
