Gotta ask though, why is the person making the bacon pancakes not using the ketchup bottle trick?

^^^ thats so funny. exactly what i was thinking when i first read it.
and ya, toothpaste for mild cleaning. my mom taught me that when i was little and she made me clean her silver jewelery. i was also told to use toothpaste to remove small scratches from windows before you tint them. didnt seem like it really worked though when i tried it.

a very helpfull picture...
Hi;
The "drink at the beach" system is foolproof. I would be happy to clarify the fast way of making what we call a "beer skin".
1- choose a pop (soda) can that has a label similar to your beer of choice. I suggest Canada Dry ginger ale to cover a can of Labatt 50 because both have a green label. This ensures that the small strip of exposed beer can is practically invisible.
2- use a belt sander to sand the bottom from the pop can
3- use a modern can opener that cuts the lid off the can at the side not the top to remove it
4- use scissors to cut the can vertically along the label's seam
5- pop the beer can into the "skin" from the bottom by gently spreading it at the base
6- enjoy a beer at the fall fair, on the ferry, or anywhere else you may choose
7- have the love of your life refill the "skin" in the ladies' room from her supply of cold ones stashed in her purse
Unless examined VERY closely this system is extremely hard to spot. Usually excessive laughter and general silliness give one away before the "skin" is noticed.
Regards,
Gavin
