Am I vanist?

Since getting a SMB, I judge every van I see on the basis of how well could I sleep in it.

Hmmm it would seem to be human nature---perhaps more male oriented?---we compare what we have with what others have.

My current work truck is an 03 e250 EB that's rusted almost to an embarrassing state and yet when I see another work van on the road I'm visually comparing it to mine, wondering how trouble-free their ownership has been. I hope I don't bash their vans, simply see how theirs stacks up against mine. In most cases my interior comfort level is fairly high, organization and ease of access to stuff inside probably a lot better than the average tradesman. But I really don't look inside other vans so can't really say.

But yeah we vanners most likely think we're "better" than the pick up owners.

If I see a nice van for its age or some tasteful modifications or set up I’ll try to hit em with the “Shaka” as I drive by,some people get it just a van brother from another mother and others are left with a confused look or “iped” instant peripheral eye disease haha
