Heavy weather for here in California just rolled through. Lightning and a little wind which was supposed to be 80MPH in the hills. Didn't get much sleep but got lots of OT. Kept the local FD's busy.

Storm passed through last night, glad it's over.

We hardly ever get snow. Now we have had it for a week. I love driving in it.

Got myself a 12 volt electric blanket. I lay it out on the bed, plug it in and put my sleeping bag on top of it. The only drawback is that it makes it hard to get out of bed on those cold mornings! (They are available at most Truck Stops, I think Pilot or Flying J for sure.)

This time last week we got up to -32, yes minus 32! Then add a 15 mph wind for a stupid cold wind chill. Thursday's forecast this week 45 above. That's 77 degrees difference. Got to love South Dakota weather

Here is my sporty during the last snow storm. I thought my large 2 1/2 ft Ham radio antenna had fallen off because I only could see my 12" cell phone extender antenna. Then I realized the cell phone antenna was completely covered and I was actually only seeing the last 12" of my Ham antenna.

By the way, do you think my solar panel works when it is under two feet of snow?

It's been in the 50's but colder nights. I was surprised to see snow still in the foothills around Coulterville. I enjoyed an evening in 10" of snow last night with balmy 25 degree weather below Yosemite. First time I've see the results of the rim fire. Not good
