Best BD gift ever

Got the best birthday gift ever from my grandsons today. A dozen clean but no longer needed cloth diapers to use as shop rags.

I hope that they wouldn't need them, it has been 50 years since cloth diapers were the norm.

Cloth diapers are absolutely one of the best towels/rags but more for fine or delicate cleaning----not sure I'd relegate them to grease, oil etc etc.

Nice for cleaning plastic lenses like the instrument cluster, computer touch screens and the like.

I don't have any kids but a friends new born son---when he out grew diapers---inherited the cloth ones, used them on his Fender guitar collection.

I have leftover cloth diapers from when my now-11-year-old son was little. We used them for changing pads, burp cloths, etc. Everything but diapers! They are great for drying the car after washing.

The five year old is ready to go. He saw some people driving on the beach at Ocean Side, OR. He asked his mom is I could drive him out on the beach this summer when we are in Rockaway. Now I just need to find out what beaches are open to vehicles in the summer. Also need to find out where the nearest car wash is for cleanup after the drive.
