California DMV fees

When you bought your van used, you paid "use tax". I didn't include the $8120.15 in sales tax or the $28 "electronic filing fee", or the $55 "document filing fee". !!!!!!!!!!

My crystal ball predicts another wave of Californians moving up here to Washington state (no state income tax, low vehicle registration fees after the one-time tax, hunting, fishing, gun-friendly). A friend has a nice little house with garage for rent in Port Townsend ...

I guess that increase is in effect!!! Just mailed the California DMV $1100 bucks for our Rig.

$37.00 for Registration fee.
$1000.+ for Licensing fee.

I Guess its Ok if this is helping our deficit........one SMB at a time . That's what I keep telling myself to justify writing that check!
