Camo Netting questions

folks

for privacy/stealth or whatever, i want to have a bag of camo netting

Mr. Google has a ton of choices

Flame retardant available, i think a good idea

Questions:

how large a piece do those of you that have netting, do you have
(if the rig is 19foot long and 7 wide, me thinks a 25x8 foot piece to
drape the front and side.....)

then, style, digital, leaf, brown, etc

what are ya using
(i want a general color/pattern, not season specific)

thanx in advance

bw

That's just plain funny!

I can't speak to the rest, but if you are looking for the ability to blend in, look at the patterns currently being worn by the various infantry units in the U.S. Military. Those patterns weren't chosen because they look cool.

Re: Camo Netting questions

i am SO hurt

hey, ok on the current digital stuff

now, for all around, do i get the desert or the woodland??

also, looks like the stuff also comes in flame retardant
any input on this?

after a night in the 'bama hills at over 100
me thinks that a drape of camo might also cool the rig down
what think ladies?

Re: Camo Netting questions

Hi Bill,

I got 2 camo nets from http://www.camonets.com/

I can't off the top of my remember the exact dimensions, but I got one large to cover parts of the van or awning and one small to cover like a shower tent or bikes etc...

If you want I can see the dimensions...?

Re: Camo Netting questions

In my opinion, desert blends better into the woods than the woodland into desert.

Re: Camo Netting questions

OK I have a 12ft x 6ft for the small one and a 24ft x 12ft for the large one...
Hope this gives you an idea... I haven't got many pics of them in use...
