actually the kind words & congrats really should go to all the great support from the forums, I can only work so much overtime to pay for it all so every bit of help in the way of time, knowledge or money really makes a difference.
Crazy day of filming that included an 18yr girl with a spinal cord injury driving the WAVE, the trailer for the Trackchair breaking a hitch pin, and me breaking the foot off my prosthetic leg! Bummer is they didn't get the foot part on camera
I love my job as a nurse, and I will continue to do it no matter how much DE grows. But it would be nice to be able to give DE the time it deserves instead of working so many extra shifts.
Oh and the Gizmodo article was fun as all the tech on the rig caught their attention.
