Do we have a thread for automotive stocks only?

I was just curious how many of the members here invest in stocks and since this is a automotive forum let's keep it to automotive related stocks.

Discuss.

The reason why I bring this up is because I'm thinking about investing in Ford stocks... Nothing big

I am assuming that there have not been any responses because anyone here with extra cash for the stock market uses that money on their rigs!![emoji2]

Re: Do we have a thread for automotive stocks only?

I've got some Ford stock that I've bought in the last year, and bought almost enough to double my position about a week and a half ago when the market plunged. I bought on the day it went down into the 11's for a very short period; I think I paid $13.30 for the latest position....yielding around 4.4% dividend presently with a P/E less than 15.....Traded at around $13.50 yesterday still quite attractive (to me anyway)....

I agree with boywonder the p/e and dividend yield makes for a good place to hide money in a volatile market.
I like to trade Tesla when it gets punished as it does from time to time. They are short term always. I picked it up a few months back at 180ish just before the announcement of the new battery technology and got a great bounce.
I trade most everyday and would love to have new people to share ideas with besides my local group. If anyone is interested PM me
Good Luck
Jim

Well, as for Ford, I was looking at it for a longer term investment, got it a bit ago at it's high point and has since dropped and not recovered. I still think there may be some potential there. Looking at Fox and parent co. Compass diversified thanks to a shout out by Ramsay a bit ago if anyone saw that.
