Yeah, normally I'm a lossless "snob" but with the din of the diesel, it's hard for me to hear the compression.

With the motor off, however, its a different story. What's funny is I don't hear the same freq. dropout when I listen to the same channels over the echostar satellite, so when we're stopped we usually listen to satellite music via the TV satellite.

Do you hear the same problems when listening to the signal from the ground repeaters? or just when outside of the urban areas getting the signal direct from the satellite?
