Do you say Pop, Soda or Coke?

most say pop here in Iowa... I say soda from living in southern IL for a few years but my dad says soda pop... it's soda.

This Wisconsinite says soda....unless I really want a coke then I just ask for a diet coke.
Now that I think of it I usually ask for what I want ..either a diet coke or a diet root beer,
or diet cream soda. You cant just say diet cream cause that sounds strange..you need the word soda after it. But usually I ask for a Miller Lite or whiskey and diet coke.

Here in Canada, it's mainly "pop", regardless of region.

Though Coca-Cola was invented and first made in Atlanta, my relatives there all said pop, maybe because they liked Pepsi better than Coke. My own family in south GA said soft drink. here in sunny CA, we tend to say soda. My wife prefers Dr. Pepper. A stereotype of a good ole southern boy was one who loved to munch down on a R.C. Cola and a big Moon Pie.
