End of an Era--And a New Beginning

The Silver Streak headed south on I-5 today with her new owner. I wish them fair winds and following seas.

The carport is empty. I'm gonna miss that rig.

Yeah, what he said?

And that's one forlorn looking carport now---gotta get a middle aged crisis sorta vehicle--Harley maybe?

JWA, I'll consider the Harley. But I had a chance to race a Suzuki at the Seattle International Raceway a while back, and I don't think anything on two wheels could top that experience.

What's next? I recently bought a new place with a very large garden and a woodshop. I'm going to spend the winter building out the woodshop, and next summer splitting my time between the garden, the woodshop, and a few remodeling projects I have in mind. In other words, I'm not gonna be on the road much for the foreseeable future. But, you know--a bare van sure would be handy for hauling lumber and the like. Who knows?

I sure have loved hanging out with all you guys...I'll continue to lurk around the edges and see what you are up to. It's been fun. Don't be strangers!

And the same goes for you too Glider---chime in from time-to-time if only to tell us how that wood shop is shaping up!
