Re: Ever seen one?

Whoa, Dormobile

Well, I need a Vixen like a need a hole in the head, but..... cool!

(Plus I tow.)

But I'd love to see one in person, and take a drive. And then try to resist buying it...

Yea... that's the issue. They're really cool. I was very very close to purchasing one... But the wife wasn't completely on board with it. "A real bathroom" was a non negotiable issue. And that's why there's not a SportsMobile in my driveway yet.

We ended up with a 1973 GMC Motorhome - and LOVE it. It's the shorter version - 23 feet. All the amenities of a full class A coach. Surprisingly - front wheel drive. Torsion bars in front and air suspension in back. And a support community akin to this place..

But I still love me a SportsMobile - that's why I keep hanging around here.

Steve,

Those are cool too. Toronado, IIRC. There used to be one in my neighborhood that was classic orange I can see why you like it.

Isn't that the original Urban Assault Vehicle from the movie Stripes?

Yeah I loved that movie cause of that vehicle. Very cool rigs and I always wanted one. Bet it's comfy inside.
