Re: FLASH !!! Wilson just got HIT!!!!!!

For what it's worth I have seen the spring center pin shear off with impacts like that on other vehicles, allowing the axle to slide back a bit on the spring perch. Not usually a tough fix.

The lady that hit me had USAA insurance
Have called them about 15 times
Retold events, vehicle, weight, description etc
EIGHT "supervisors" promised me to get a tow truck and underwriter to my house
11 people promised to call me right back
(i am anal when it comes to this type of deal w/ records

NO tow truck
NOT a single call back as promised

Called my Camping World service
Truck coming tomarrow at 9 to take Wilson to Full Tilt

Already turned in to my attorney and filed a police report
(i have two NASTY attorneys on retainer for my business
(i also volunteer for the local sheriffs, they have already paid a visit to the lady that hit me

I tried to be nice, but i Aint a doormat
Will post what Full Tilt finds

oVER

ps

did i mention that USAA promised me a rental?
gave me a conf number and everything
when to Enterprise to pick up the car.....
Oh, i had a reservatioin all right, but Yours Truely had to pay
USAA lied about that too

i know some of you will come to the defense of USAA, fine

Bill, this van sounds like a lot of trouble for you. I'd suggest it might be easier for you to just sign it over to me. You're welcome!

Re: FLASH !!! Wilson just got HIT!!!!!!

What's the report card on USAA? Did they finally come through? Were they difficult start to finish?

I've had good luck with them, but of course I'm the one giving them money. Not, the one taking the money..

Re: FLASH !!! Wilson just got HIT!!!!!!

Just made my 3 hour RT grocerystore run
free way miles
BIG difference in ride with new bilstens and steering damper

Now if i could just get my foot off the gas and cruise at 65.......

USAA, a real pain
big problem getting the rig towed
infact, never did
Wound up driving the 2 miles to the shop

Have not compared the real work order w/ the check but
I am ok w/ it so far

Got a new squeak when turning now, will get it cked out

Per the rep at USAA, if the thing fails again or a problem they will make it right

Report Card = C-

Re: FLASH !!! Wilson just got HIT!!!!!!

My daughter's car got hit with very minor damage in a parking lot and the gal had USAA insurance. Started off very nice and professional at first. Woman was in a rental car and that delayed claim processing while USAA figured out which insurance was primary. They never called me back to say repairs were approved (after almost 2 months). Luckily, USAA did suggest a local body shop (when they did talk to me early on) and I had them get approval. I give USAA an overall grade of a C-/D+. How hard is it to pick up the phone?

We had USAA homeowners and car insurance for years, but dropped it for AAA when costs got too high. Great service from USAA as a paying customer and I loved their free mobile windshield repairs. AAA doesn't do that.
