Imagine having the job of screening vanity plate requests. What might appear to be a totally innocent word could turn out to be horrible slang. How many of us are up to date on the entries in the urban dictionary? Imagine a job where one is paid to google words to see if they are "bad"!

I saw one yesterday that got a chuckle out of me.

Hi;

I remember 30 years ago seeing a short Asian man driving a Lotus Esprit with the plate IGO 469.

I also remember a 1979 Cordoba with DRUNK on the Ontario plate. No doubt MADD would have forced the government to drag that one back from him once political correctness started.

I have GODOBA and never realized that the first three letters might have a religious connotation for oba playing musicians...
