Re: Gas prices

2.94-3.20 & 3.74 for diesel now. Diesel was lower than premium much of the year until now and averaged 3.89 almost all summer at the station down the road from me.

Re: Gas prices

$3.19 for regular at Costco. Hopefully the downward trend continues as my road trip to Bend, OR approaches...V10 is thirsty!

Re: Gas prices

Currently on a road trip from CA to FL. Gas prices have been getting lower as we go east - paid $2.50/gal today in Gulfport, Mississippi.

Re: Gas prices

Ventura prices
$3.02 regular
$3.12 mid grade
$3.22 premium
$3.59 diesel

They also have E85, bio-diesel, and red (off-road) diesel but I don't remember those prices.

Re: Gas prices

Filled up for $3.69/gal in SF today. Of course it was near SFO, so probably a bit inflated. Then on the outskirts of Portland for $3.09 (mid-grade). Nice to be back in Oregon.

Re: Gas prices

$3.399 for diesel in Flagstaff at Frys. With a 40cent discount on food it's the first time since I've owned the van that I paid under $3 for diesel. I'm not sure if that's good or bad but it makes me want to go on a road trip.

Re: Gas prices

Just thinking about the huge difference in gas and diesel prices. In central Indiana, gas is going for $1.79, but diesel is around $3.40. Ouch. I am looking at a new van in a year or two and was considering the Sprinter diesel versus the new Transit with the 3.5 eco-tech gasoline engine. The sprinter might get a little better mileage, but probably not double. The Transit is also a little wider inside than the Sprinter. You might be able to sleep across the van.
