As a Cheese side note if you ever have the chance a visit to the Tillamook store on the Oregon coast it's worth the time you spend there. Pretty interesting to see the process and the big vats they make the cheese in.

Re: Good news for Mississipi
Oh, and I agree, I don't think this is silly shit.
You stimulate the homebrew industry, which leads to greater interest in craft beers, which leads to local, independently-owned craft breweries and brewpubs. Local employment. Locally-sourced goods. Less football "beer" being consumed. All good.
Cheers,
Brent

I'll second that, but I'm a little biased since I bought those vats. If you come visit, let me know and l will give you a personalized tour.

A personalized tour of the cheese factory sounds like fun. Whenever I am there I find myself more interested in the huckleberry ice cream than the cheese. Will be in Rockaway for two weeks in August and will try to stop by.

Re: Good news for Mississipi
And to complete the circle, yesterday the Governor of Alabama signed into legislation, the right to homebrew beer. Homebrewing there goes from what was a felony, to being legal. 50 states out of 50.

Pretty damn silly, isn't it, but there are actually still dry places in this nation. It's a drink for pete's sake, it ain't crack. I'm all for whatever makes the Bible belt LESS of a Bible belt personally, and I'm not bashing anyone's beliefs. Religious folks drink as much as anyone else, they just have this strange shame/guilt thing attatched to it. For instance, why can you not buy alcohol before noon on Sunday? Where did they get this? What sense does this make in 2013?
