Great day

Had the Fed Ex fairy drop off a little present today. Who knows what it is?

A used refrigerator!

Seriously......that gear looks sweet!! No more wort boiling over onto the kitchen stove when chucking in the hops!

Yep, got tired of 5 gallon batches, and even though I had long ago been kicked off the kitchen stove (have been using a Camp Chef propane burner), I wanted to really step up my brewing game after not getting much brewing done since my son was born nearly 10 years ago. Time to get serious about it again.

The fridge is actually a deep freezer with a temperature controller on it for controlling fermentation temperatures.

I'd guess that's a 10 gallon batch "tippy dump style" all grain brew sculpture. And I'm glad to hear that I wasn't the only one to convert a deep freezer for temperature control of the fermenters. Speaking of fermenters are you using buckets or is there a nice conical in your future?

After I recover from the price of the brew sculpture, I might just do that.
